Implementation of new regional geography in geography lessons

Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl a) inovovat výuku regionální geografie prostřednictvím učebních materiálů s prvky nové regionální geografie, b) začlenit metody hodnocení pro učení do výukového procesu geografie. V teoretické části se zabývá vývojem regionální geografie, metodou hodnocení pro učení a správným pokládáním otázek pro tvorbu pracovních listů. Metodologie práce představuje akční výzkum, jehož součástí jsou tři fáze výukových materiálů (případová studie, pracovní list, hodnotící list). Akční výzkum byl realizován ve skutečných vyučovacích hodinách se vzorkem 19 žáků základní školy. Výzkumná část práce popisuje strukturu vyučovacích hodin a prezentuje výsledky provedeného výzkumu. Diskuse analyzuje a komentuje zjištěná data v kontextu dosažení výzkumného cíle, poskytujíc tak ucelený pohled na efektivitu implementovaných prvků do výuky zeměpisu.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to a) innovate the teaching of regional geography through teaching materials with elements of the new regional geography, b) incorporate assessment for learning methods into the geography teaching process. The theoretical part explores the development of regional geography, the method of assessment for learning, and the proper formulation of questions for the creation of worksheets. The methodology introduces action research, including three phases of teaching materials (case study, worksheet, assessment sheet). Action research was conducted in real classroom settings with a sample of 19 elementary school students. The research section describes the structure of teaching hours and presents the results of the conducted research. The discussion analyzes and comments on the findings in the context of achieving the research goal, providing a comprehensive view of the effectiveness of the implemented elements in geography teaching.
