The Funding of Investments in the City of Třemošnice

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení investičních akcí vybrané municipality – města Třemošnice a jejich financování ve vztahu k obecnímu rozpočtu. První část, obecná, se zabývá aspekty územní samosprávy, její působností, pravomocemi a financemi. Dále jsou představeny způsoby a možnosti financování rozvoje obce. Na základě zjištěných poznatků je další část zacílená na konkrétní obec. Je charakterizováno město Třemošnice, provedena analýza obecního rozpočtu a způsobu financování investičních akcí. Jsou zde prezentovány problémy malého města zapříčiněné financováním investic způsobem ex post a čerpáním evropských dotací ve vztahu k rozpočtovému hospodaření.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of investment actions of the chosen municipality – a town Třemošnice and its financing regarding the municipal budget. The first part is general and it concerns aspects of the local authority, its activities, competences and finances. Next, ways and possibilities of financing the development of the municipality are introduced. The following part is aimed at the specific municipality on the basis of the discovered knowledge. There is also a characterisation of the town Třemošnice together with the analysis of the municipal budget and the way of financing of investment actions. Problems of this small town caused by financing of investments by the method called ex post as well as taking European grants in relations to the budgetary management are also presented.
