Project Proposals for Support of Tourism Development in the Territory of the Plumlov Microregion

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou cestovního ruchu na území Mikroregionu Plumlovsko. Cílem práce je navrhnout správné kroky, které napomůžou rozvoji cestovního ruchu v daném mikroregionu. Z tohoto důvodu bylo využito metod, jako jsou rešerše literárních zdrojů týkajících se cestovního ruchu, analýza současného stavu a semistrukturované rozhovory s vybranými aktéry dané oblasti. Zdroje pro analýzu představovaly primární zdroje spojené s vlastním terénním průzkumem a znalostmi, ale také sekundární zdroje převzaté z dostupných statistických dat. Na základě rozhovorů a analýzy bylo zjištěno, že Plumlovsko má potenciál pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu na jeho území. Proto zde byla navržena opatření zaměřená především na pěší turistiku a agroturistiku posilující atraktivitu a konkurenceshopnost mikroregionu v oblasti cestovního ruchu.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the issue of a tourism in a microregion Plumlov. The main aim of the thesis is to suggest and develop the right approach, which will help the development of the tourism in the microregion. Therefore, the methods were used, such as research of literature sources dealing with the tourism, analysis of the current situation and semistuctured interviews with selected people from tourism sphere in the region. Primary resources connected with field research and knowledge were used as well as secondary sources taken from the available statistical data. Based on the interviews and analysis, it was found that Plumlov has potential for tourism development. Accordingly, several measures have been proposed in the thesis, which are focused mainly on walking and agrotourism appreci-ating the development and increase of competitiveness of the microregion in the tourism sector.
