Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou předčasného ukončování studia na UJEP v oborech Geografie a Podnikový management. Cílem práce je identifikovat problematická místa a zhodnotit důvody, které vedou k předčasnému ukončení studia z pohledu studenta. Využito je dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na již zmíněné obory bakalářského studia. Šetření je zaměřeno na (a) vnímání studia studenty, (b) zhodnocení jejich vlastního studia a (c) názor na problematiku předčasného ukončení studia. Pomocí šetření jsou zjištěny důvody, které přispívají k setrvání a následnému úspěšnému absolvování studia, nebo naopak opouštění školy před úspěšným dokončením. Z šetření vyplývá, že problematika u sledovaných oborů je aktuální. Už významný je rozdíl mezi přijatými a zapsanými studenty. Jako podstatné hodnotíme, že dle studentů hraje při nedokončení studia významnou roli nedostatečná motivace a špatné studijními výsledky.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals with the issues of termination of studies at UJEP in fields Geography and Business management. The goal of this dissertation is to identify problematic spots and to evaluate the reasons that lead to early termination of studies from a student's point of view. Questionnaire examination that is used in this dissertation is aimed at (a) students´ perception of studies, (b) evaluation of their own studies and (c) opinion on the issue of an early termination of studies. With the help of questionnaire we can find out reasons that contribute to abidance and then successful graduation or, vice versa, quitting school prior to the successful graduation. The questionnaire examination shows that the issue of the watched fields is current. The difference between accepted and enrolled students is very strong. We evaluate as a significant thing, that according to the students, the lack of motivation and bad study results play a considerable part in early termination of studies.
