Vegetation of fish storage ponds and fishponds in Jaroslavice, Znojmo district

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo studovat vegetaci v komplexu rybích sádek v Jaroslavicích na Znojemsku. Nacházejí se zde vedle rybích sádek také komorové rybníky, příkopové rybníky a manipulační rybníky, což jsou nádrže určené k chovu ryb, na které jsem se zaměřila. Sběr dat na lokalitě jsem provedla zapisováním trvalých ploch v nádržích, inventarizací druhového spektra, odběrem půdní semenné banky, zaznamenáním hospodářských zásahů. Celkem jsem v nádržích zaznamenala 140 druhů, z toho tři druhy mechorostů a dva druhy makroskopických řas. Třináct druhů spadá do některé kategorie ohrožení podle Červeného seznamu České republiky. Rozborem půdní semenné banky odebrané v blízkosti ploch jsem objevila 47 druhů rostlin. Tyto údaje jsem použila pro porovnání s aktuálním druhovým složením trvalé plochy a výsledky ukázaly na nepodobost mezi vzorky z manipulačního a příkopových rybníků, ostatní vzorky semenné banky korespondovaly s druhy z ploch. Rozborem vzorků odebraných při výlovu jsem zjistila, že rybářská vozidla zde mohou sloužit jako vektor přenosu diaspor. Shluková analýza založená na datech o druzích k sobě přiřadila typy nádrží a soubor rozdělila na dvě větší části, kde v jedné byly komorové rybníky a sádky a ve druhé příkopové a manipulační rybníky. Metoda DCA vzorky oddělila do podobných skupin. Metodou CCA jsem otestovala vliv hospodářských zásahů a faktorů prostředí, signifikantní vliv měl typ nádrže a vlhkost substrátu ve snímku. Metodou lineární regrese jsem zjistila, že faktory prostředí nejvíce ovlivňují počet druhů, u pokryvností nebyl vliv tak silný. Změny ve vegetaci trvalých ploch, které jsem zapsala opakovaně v obou letech, jsem porovnávala Shannonovým indexem alfa diverzity a porovnáním celkové pokryvnosti a pokryvnosti bylin pomocí Kruskal-Wallis testu. Žádný výsledek nebyl signifikantní, výrazné změny ve vegetaci a druhovém složení během dvou let tedy nenastaly.

Abstract:

My thesis was focused on investigation of vegetation in complex of fish storage ponds in Jaroslavice (Znojmo district). Besides the fish storage ponds, three other types of special ponds occur on the locality: wintering ponds (used also as fry ponds), ditch-like grassy fry ponds and grassy ponds for short-term fish storage. I collected data in the field by writing phytocenological relevés on permanent plots in ponds, inventory of species in ponds, sampling soil for seed bank analysis and recording data on management practices. I recorded 140 species including two species of macro algae and three moss species. Thirteen species are in some category of threat in the Read list of the Czech Republic. I found 47 species in the soil seed bank. The analysis of soil seed bank and standing vegetation showed dissimilarities for samples from both types of grassy ponds. Species composition of soil seed bank from fish storage pond and wintering ponds was similar to species composition in vegetation. The analysis of soil samples taken during pond harvesting showed that vehicles can be a vector of seed transport. Cluster analysis of relevés split the data set into two major groups, one with fish storage ponds and wintering ponds, another one with the both types of grassy ponds. The DCA method split relevés into similar groups. I tested management practices and environmental characteristics using the CCA method. The analysis detected type of pond and soil moisture as the most important variables. Linear regression detected strong influence of environmental variables on number of species, relationships between variables and coverage of herb layer and total coverage were weak. I compared changes in vegetation by Shannon diversity index, total coverage and coverage of herb layer using the Kruskal-Wallis test. No results were significant and it means that no changes in vegetation and species composition during two years occurred.
