The bachelors thesis deals with the image of the countryside in the current dramaturgical plan of the Východočeské divadlo Pardubice focusing on three productions from the recent repertoire that carried the image of the Czech countryside: Konec masopustu, Hoří, má panenko! and Kalibův zločin.
