Embryonal development of the eye. Congenital eye anomalies.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zpracovává poměrně obsáhlé téma. První část práce je zaměřena na embryonální vývoj oka. Popisuje diferenciaci očních struktur a jednotlivé periody vzniku. Následující část je věnována problematice teratologie a teratogenních látek. Informuje o příčinách a principech vzniku kongenitálních vad. V práci je také zahrnuta problematika faktorů ovlivňujících vývoj plodu a jejich možné následky. Dále jsou zmíněny obecné základy genetiky. Závěrečná část pojednává o nejčastějších kongenitálních anomáliích jednotlivých struktur oka. Zde jsou popsány příčiny jejich vzniku, klinické obrazy, prevalence a možnosti léčby.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis contains broad topic. The first part of thesis is focused on embryonal development of the eye. It describes the differentiation of ocular structures and each period of creation. The following section is devoted to teratology and teratogenic substances. It informs about causes and principles of congenital defects. Thesis also included issue of factors affecting fetal development and their possible consequences and also discussed general basics of genetics. The final section discusses the most common congenital anomalies of the various structures of the eye. Here is described their causes, clinical pictures, prevalence and treatment options.
