The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze development of economic policy of the Slovak Republic with putting emphasis on course of the deficit and public debt. The thesis is devided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to characteristic, aims and particular kinds of economic policies. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je zanalyzovať vývoj hospodárskej politiky Slovenskej republiky a to so zameraním na vývoj deficitu a verejného dlhu. Práca je rozčlenená do troch kapitol, kde prvá kapitola je venovaná charakteristike, cieľom a jednotlivým typom hospodárskej politiky.
