Abstract:
Práce popisuje konstrukci a strukturu RMS Titanic, lodě třídy Olympic patřící společnosti White Star Line v Belfastu. Zabývá se komfortem cestujících, záchranným vybavením a plavebními testy. RMS Titanic byl 2 ze 3 lodí třídy Olympic, které byly postaveny. Stavba začala v březnu 1909 v loděnici Harland and Wolff a skončila na jaře roku 1911.
Abstract:
This thesis describes the construction and structure of the RMS Titanic, which was an Olympic class ocean liner belonging to the company White Star Line in Belfast. The topics which will be described are passenger comfort, the available safety equipment on board and navigational tests.
