This master's thesis deals with the issue of idiomatic expressions used in professional texts written in English. The study analyses texts of non-native speakers and comments particular idiomatic expressions. Further, is compares the occurrence ratio of idiomatic expressions of native and non-native speakers. Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou idimatických výrazů používáných v odborných textech psaných anglicky. Práce analyzuje texty nerodilých mluvčí a komentuje dané idiomatické výrazy. Dále také srovnává poměr výskytu idiomatických výrazů u rodilých a nerodilých mluvčí. Tato práce obsahuje korpus idiomatických výrazů, které jsou analyzovány na základě nastavených kritérií.
