Ordinary Differential Equations solved using an integrating factor

Abstract:

Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s problematikou hledání integračního faktoru pro obyčejné diferenciální rovnice 1. řádu, které nejsou exaktní, což v obecném případě vede na nutnost řešit parciální diferenciální rovnici. V práci jsou odvozeny integrační faktory pro vybrané typy neexaktních diferenciálních rovnic, a dále pak řešeny konkrétní příklady diferenciálních rovnic, které jsou po nalezení vhodného integračního faktoru, převedeny na rovnice exaktní a následně zintegrovány.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to acquaint readers with the problems of finding an integrating factor for ordinary differential equations of the first order, which are not exact. It generally leads to a necessity to solve partial differential equation. In this work integral factors for certain types of non-exact differential equations of the first order are derived, then concrete examples of differential equations are solved. After finding a suitable integrating factor given differential equations are reduced to an exact equation, consequently integrated and corresponding general solutions are found.
