Analysis of Landscape Change on the Example of Extinct Settlements Using Digitization of Map Data

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Analýza změny krajiny na příkladu zaniklých sídel s využitím digitalizace mapových podkladů“ se zabývá popisem změn krajiny na příkladu zaniklých sídel v oblasti Sudet na severu Moravy. Předmětem této analýzy je osada Adamov s přilehlým Lesním mlýnem nacházejících se na Staroměstsku v okrese Šumperk. Součástí uvedené analýzy prováděné na podkladě historických a současných mapových podkladů spojených s jejich digitalizací je popis historie Adamova a Lesního mlýna zakončený jejich zánikem v souvislosti s vysídlením německého obyvatelstva po II. světové válce. Výsledky digitalizace jsou prezentovány formou mapových výstupů zpracovaných v prostředí softwaru ArcGIS. Mapovými podklady sloužícími k cíli práce, tj. dokumentaci vývoje Adamova a Lesního mlýna od 1. poloviny 19. století po současnost, byly císařské otisky stabilního katastru Moravy a Slezska z let 1824 až 1836, letecké měřické snímky z let 1936, 1946, 1953, 1962 a aktuální ortofotomapa. Analyzovaná krajina si prošla velkou přeměnou z původně osídlené a zemědělsky využívané do krajiny výhradně lesní.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis on the topic "Analysis of landscape change on the example of extinct settlements using digitization of map data" deals with the description of landscape changes on the example of extinct settlements in the Sudetenland in northern Moravia. The subject of this analysis is the settlement of Adamov next to the adjacent Forest Mill located in the Old Town region of the Šumperk district. Part of the analysis carried out on the basis of historical and contemporary map data associated with their digitization is a description of the history of Adamov and Lesní mlýn, ending with their demise in connection with the settlement of the German population after World War II. world war. The results of digitization are presented in the form of map outputs processed in the ArcGIS software environment. The map materials used for the purpose of the work, ie documentation of the development of Adamov and Lesní mlýn from the first half of the 19th century to the present, were imperial prints of the stable cadastre of Moravia and Silesia from 1824 to 1836, aerial survey images from 1936, 1946, 1953 and 1962 and the current orthophotomap. The analyzed landscape has undergone a major transformation from the originally inhabited and agriculturally used to an exclusively forest landscape.
