Rolle's Theorem and its Applications
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce Rolleova věta a její aplikace se zabývá různými výsledky o funkcích jedné proměnné, které lze dokázat pomocí Rolleovy věty. V první kapitole je zformulována Rolleova věta, okomentován její důkaz a jsou uvedeny další základní věty matematické analýzy potřebné pro další výklad. Druhá kapitola obsahuje patnáct rozmanitých aplikací Rolleovy věty.
Abstract:
This thesis Rolle's Theorem and its Applications deals with various results about functions in one variable which can be proved by using Rolle's theorem. The first chapter presents the statement of Rolle's theorem, comments of its proof and others basic theorems of calculus which are needed for further considerations. The second chapter discusses fifteen applications of Rolle's theorem.
