Magisterská práce je zaměřena na překladatelskou činnost a praktické překlady úryvků textů z vybrané literaury z němčiny do češtiny a z češtiny do němčiny. Předložená práce je rozdělena na čtyři části. Kromě teoretických poznatků včetně vývoje vědeckého oboru translatologie obsahuje rovněž postřehy a poznatky z překladatelské praxe, především úskalí a odlišnosti jazyků, se kterými se pracuje.
