Determination of thermal endurance of electrical insulating materials

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku elektroizolační techniky velkých točivých strojů. Je rozdělena na čtyři části. Úvodní část rekapituluje technické řešení izolačních systémů těchto strojů, nové možnosti v oblasti elektroizolačních materiálů a technologií. Druhá část rekapituluje nejvýznamnější degradační vlivy působící na elektroizolační materiály v provozu se zaměřením na jejich tepelné namáhání. Ve třetí části se zabývá definicemi současných standardů a soustřeďuje se na postupy, podle kterých se tepelná odolnost izolantů zkouší a následně zatřiďuje do příslušných tepelných tříd. Drží se platných norem, které byly pro její zpracování v rozhodující míře použity. Kapitoly čtvrté části práce Vás seznámí s hodnocením vybraných parametrů tepelné odolnosti podle zavedených standardů a také s využitím termických analýz jako vhodných alternativních metod. Závěr práce obsahuje porovnání vyhodnocených dat všech použitých metod a dává odpověď na možnosti aplikace termických analýz pro hodnocení tepelné odolnosti izolantů v praxi.

Abstract:

The presented thesis is focused on issues concerning the insulation technologies for large rotating machines. It's divided into four parts. The introductory part recapitulates the technical solutions insulation systems of these machines and new opportunities in the area of electrical insulating materials and technologies. The second part summarizes the most significant degradation influences affecting the electrical insulating materials in service, with the focus on the thermal stresses. The third part deals with the definitions of existing standards and focuses on the methods by which the thermal endurance of insulating materials is tested and subsequently is classified in the relevant of thermal class. The fourth part introduces you to the evaluation of selected parameters thermal endurance according to established standards and also with the use of thermal analysis as suitable alternative methods. The conclusion compared results of all methods for the data evaluation and answered to the question regarding possibilities for application of thermal analysis classification the thermal endurance in practice.
