Koncept morálního citu, který jako základ morálního citu určoval propojení emocionality a racionality, podkopával tradiční definice genderu. This thesis deals with the impact the ambiguous relationship between the eighteenth-century philosophy and gender definitions had on literature written by women. The concept of moral sentiment placed in the heart of moral distinction both rationality and emotionality: a fusion which undermined the gender archetypes.
