Tokens of prisoners' agression in the penitentiary environment and opportunities for prevention.

Abstract:

Projevy agresivity v penitenciárním prostředí jsou jedním ze zásadních problémů, kterým dlouhodobě čelí všichni zaměstnanci věznic, ale i vězňové mezi sebou. I když se v posledních letech podařilo, cílenou diferenciací tento fenomén značně snížit přesto k tomuto nežádoucímu jevu stále ve věznicích dochází. Cílem této práce bude identifikovat oblasti, které jsou nejčastější příčinou autoagrese či heteroagrese v penitenciárním prostředí. V rámci výzkumného šetření budou dále porovnány dvě skupiny respondentů (obvinění a odsouzení) s cílem zjistit, zda se agresivita vyskytuje ve větší míře u odsouzených nebo obviněných. Výzkumné šetření bude provedeno ve Vazební věznici Litoměřice a Teplice a v klasické věznici pro výkon trestu odnětí svobody (Věznice Bělušice). Výstupem z této práce bude doporučení pro pracovníky Vězeňské služby, jak eliminovat možné případy agresivního chování nejen vůči personálu věznic, ale také agresivity mezi vězni.

Abstract:

Aggression in the penitentiary environment is one of the major challenges that faces in the long term all prison staff, but also the prisoners among themselves. Although in recent years there has been managed to reduce greatly this phenomenon by directed differentiation, but this undesirable phenomenon still occurs in the prisons. The aim of this work is to identify the areas that are the most frequent cause of auto or heteroagrese in penitentiary environment. As part of the survey two groups of respondents (accused and convicted) will be also compared in order to determine whether the aggression occurs increasingly at the convicted or accused persons. The survey will be conducted in the detention jail Litoměřice and Teplice and in the classic jail for imprisonment (Věznice Bělušice). The outcome of this work will be recommendation for prison guard how to eliminate possible cases of aggressive behavior, not only against prison staff, but also the aggression among prisoners.
