Abstract:

Táto práca zahŕňa návrh, vývoj, testovanie a nasadenie novej webovej aplikácie OrtoDB šitej na mieru pre Masarykovu univerzitu (MUNI) v oblasti medicínskeho vzdelávania. Primárnym účelom webovej aplikácie je poskytnúť systém na ukladanie lekárskych údajov a snímok lekárskych záznamov pacientov, ktoré možno filtrovať a kategorizovať. Učiteľom pomôže vytvoriť lepšie vzdelávacie prostredie, v ktorom budú mať študenti digitálne materiály o skutočných prípadoch, čím ich lepšie pripraví na problémy zo skutočného života. OrtoDB je nasadená na serveroch MUNI. Backend je vyvinutý pomocou programovacieho jazyka PHP s frameworkom Symfony a frontend pomocou knižnice React v jazyku Typescript. Počiatočným cieľom je naplniť OrtoDB vizualizáciami pre ortopedické vzdelávanie ako základ pre širšie aplikácie OrtoDB v budúcnosti. Neoddeliteľnou súčasťou diplomovej práce je výskum viacerých typov platforiem v systémoch digitálneho vzdelávania a webových aplikácií na ukladanie obrazovej dokumentácie. Okrem toho práca porovnáva ďalšie webové aplikácie MUNI s podobným účelom ako OrtoDB, pričom poukazuje na nové funkcie a výhody, ktoré OrtoDB prináša do vzdelávania na MUNI.

Abstract:

This work involves designing, developing, testing and deploying a new web application, OrtoDB, tailored for Masaryk University (MUNI) in medical education. The web application’s primary purpose is to provide a system for storing medical data and images of patients’ medical recordings that can be filtered and categorized. It will help teachers create a better education environment where students will have digital materials about actual cases, better preparing them for real-life issues. OrtoDB is deployed on MUNI servers. The backend is developed using the PHP programming language with the Symfony framework, and the frontend using the React library in the Typescript language. The initial focus is to populate OrtoDB with visualizations for orthopaedic education as a foundation for broader applications of OrtoDB in the future. An inseparable part of the master thesis is a research of multiple types of platforms in digital education systems and web applications for storing image documentation. Additionally, the thesis compares other MUNI web applications with a similar purpose as OrtoDB, highlighting the new features and advantages that OrtoDB brings to education at MUNI.
