Abstract:

Předmětem mé diplomové práce je "Management zklidnění agresivního pacienta v podmínkách ZZS". Cílem je představit problematiku kontaktu záchranářů s agresivními pacienty a poskytnout přehled o možnostech, jak s takovými pacienty pracovat, a jaké možnosti má zdravotnický záchranář pro vlastní ochranu. V praktické části práce byl proveden kvantitativní výzkum za použití standardizovaného nástroje BVC, který měli zaměstnanci k dispozici v elektronické zdravotnické dokumentaci, kterou běžně používají. Současně proběhlo školení zaměstnanců za účelem zjištění, zda má toto školení vliv na prevalenci a míru agresivity u pacientů.

Abstract:

The subject of my master thesis is "Management of calming an aggressive patient in the conditions of the EMS". The aim is to present the issue of paramedics encounters with aggressive patients and to provide an overview of the possibilities of working with such patients, as well as the options available to paramedics for self-protection. In the practical part of the thesis is quantitative research which was conducted using a standardized BVC tool available to staff in the commonly used electronic medical record. Simultaneously, training sessions were conducted with staff to determine whether this training had an impact on the incidence and level of aggression among patients.
