Hlubenka skrytá - Aphelocheirus aestivalis (Fabricius, 1794) patří mezi vodní ploštice (Heteroptera, Nepomorpha) a je to náš jediný zástupce čeledi Aphelocheiridae. Jeho bentický způsob života souvisí s plastronovým dýcháním, které je typickým znakem čeledi Aphelocheiridae. Abstract:
Aphelocheirus aestivalis (Fabricius, 1794) is a water bug (Heteroptera, Nepomorpha) and the only representative of Aphelocheiridae in the Czech Republic. Its benthic life style is a characteristic feature of Aphelocheiridae, closely related to plastron respiration and various levels of wings reduction.
