Abstract:

Anotace Teoretická část bakalářské práce Význam a funkce animovaných fitulků ve filmu popisuje hlavní mezníky vývoje animovaných titulků ve filmu od konce 19. století až po současnost, nastíňuje některé jejich funkce a objasňuje jejich význam. Práce se zaměřuje na přínos a vliv Saula Basse, Iginia Lardaniho, autorské dvojice Florence Deygasová a Olivier Kuntzel a Pabla Ferra na design filmových titulků. Praktická část bakalářské práce zachycuje proces tvorby autorského animovaného filmu Rotsethornet - od preprodukce, přes popis zvolené techniky, až po samotný proces tvorby.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis The meaning and function of animated subtitles in the film describes the main milestones in the development of animated subtitles in film from the end of the 19th century to the present, outlines some of their functions, and clarifies their meaning. The work focuses on the contribution and influence of Saul Bass, Iginio Lardani, the author duo Florence Deygas and Olivier Kuntzel, and Pablo Ferro on the design of film subtitles. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis captures the process of creating the author's animated film Rotsethornet - from pre-production, through a description of the chosen technique, to the actual creation process.
