View on the problematics employability of people with a criminal record by social worker

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku zaměstnatelnosti osob se záznamem v Rejstříku trestů a to primárně z pohledů sociálních pracovníků, případně jiných specialistů, kteří se touto problematikou zabývají. V úvodu teoretické části se budeme zabývat vymezením základních pojmů a jejich charakteristikou. Zaměříme se na sociální patologii, trest odnětí svobody, nezaměstnanost, sociální prací a postpenitenciární péčí. V empirické části budeme vycházet z výzkumného nástroje, kterým bude polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Rozhovor bude realizován se třemi skupinami pracovníků a to s pracovníky působící přímo na odsouzené ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a poté s pracovníky, kteří působí na jedince po opuštění bran vězení - ze státních institucí a z neziskových organizacích. Výstupem práce budou návrhy, které by vedly ke zlepšení pracovního uplatnění osob se záznamem v rejstříku trestů, popřípadě doporučení, jak eliminovat možné zábrany vedoucí ke zhoršení zaměstnatelnosti těchto jedinců.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on issues of the employability of persons with criminal records, primarily from the perspectives of social workers or other specialists who deal with this issue. In the introduction of the theoretical part we will deal with the definition of basic terms and their characteristics. We will focus on social pathology, imprisonment, unemployment, social work and postpenitentiary care. The empirical part will be based on the survey instrument, which will be semi-structured interview. The interview will be conducted with three groups of workers, namely workers affecting inmates in prison directly, then the staff who affect these individuals after leaving the prison gates - from state institutions and non-profit organizations. The outcome of this thesis will be proposals that could lead to improving the employment of persons with criminal records, or recommendations how to eliminate possible barriers leading to the deterioration of the employability of these individuals.
