Numerical solution of stiff problems
Abstract:
V této diplomové práci se věnujeme numerickému řešení tuhých problémů. Nejdříve jsou uvedeny jednokrokové a vícekrokové metody pro numerické řešení obyčejných diferenciálních rovnic. Následně je vysvětleno, co jsou tuhé problémy a které z těchto metod je vhodné používat pro jejich řešení. V závěru práce jsou představeny konkrétní příklady tuhých problémů.
Abstract:
In this thesis we study numerical solution of stiff problems. Firstly, one step and multistep methods for the numerical solutions of ordinary differential equation are described. Subsequently, it is explained what the stiff problems are and which of these methods are suitable for their solution. At the end of the thesis, examples of stiff equations are listed.
