This bachelor thesis analyses the question of violence in "La Virgen de los Sicarios" by the contemporary author Fernando Vallejo. The research focuses on the individual elements of the violence spectrum in Colombian society in the 1990s which led to the phenomenon of killers-for-hire, or so-called "sicarios". Predložená bakalárska práca analyzuje otázku násilia v diele “La Virgen de los Sicarios” od súčasného autora Fernanda Valleja. Predmetom skúmania sú jednotlivé elementy spektra násilia v kolumbijskej spoločnosti v 90. rokoch, ktoré umožnili vznik fenoménu nájomných vrahov, tzv. sicarios. Cieľom práce bolo priblížiť pohnútky autora k vytvoreniu tohto diela a zamerať sa na iracionálne vnímanie smrti …more
