Adaptation process of a beginning teacher

Abstract:

Tato práce nese název „Adaptační proces začínajícího učitele“. V této práci se budu zabývat adaptačním procesem učitele ve škole. Popisuji zde období, ve kterém se začínající učitel stává plnohodnotným pedagogem. Začínající učitel se setkává ve své práci s novými podněty, se kterými se doposud nese-tkal. Tento proces adaptace není pro většinu začínajících učitelů vůbec snadný. Aby se tento složitý a náročný proces adaptace nastupujícímu učiteli usnadnil, tak se vytvořila na škole funkce Uvádějícího učitele, který pomáhá začínajícímu učiteli se lépe orientovat v prostředí školy. Může se především jednat o pomoc s administrativou, komunikací učitele s rodiči a žáky. Do prosince 2023 nebylo nijak pevně stanoveno, jak má vypadat spolupráce mezi začínajícím učitelem a jeho zkušenějším kolegou. Vzhledem k situaci, že já osobně nastupuji jako učitel odborných předmětů na střední školu, tak mě velmi zajímá, jak tento adaptační proces v praxi funguje. Na stránkách této práce, která se bude skládat ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické, bych chtěl docílit toho, abych ukázal, jak adaptační proces začínajícího učitele funguje na našich školách.

Abstract:

This work is entitled „Adaptation process of a beginning teacher“. In this work, I will deal with the adaptation process of a teacher at school. I am describing here the period in which a beginning teacher becomes a full-fledged pedagogue. A beginning teacher encounters new stimuli in his work that he has not encountered before. This process of adaptation is not at all easy for most beginning teachers. In order to make this complex and demanding process of adaptation easier for the new teacher, the function of Introducing Teacher was created at the school, which helps the new teacher to better orient himself in the school environment. It can primarily be help with administration, teacher communication with parents and pupils. Until December 2023, it was not firmly written what the cooperation between a beginning teacher and his more experienced colleague should look like. Given the situ-ation that I am starting as a teacher of vocational subjects at a secondary school, I am very interested in how this adaptation process works in practice. On the pages of this work, which will consist of two parts, theoretical and practical, I would like to ensure that this work shows how the adaptation process of a beginning teacher works in our schools.
