Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou moci ve čtyřech vybraných dystopických románech, konkrétně v knihách Konec civilizace (1932) od Aldouse Huxleyho, 1984 (1949) George Orwella, The Ice People (1998) od Maggie Gee a The Stone Gods (2007) od Jeanette Winterson. This Master's thesis examines the depiction of power in four selected dystopian novels, namely in Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (1932), George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), Maggie Gee’s The Ice People (1998), and Jeanette Winterson’s The Stone Gods (2007).
