The development of mobile workplace for monitoring of the selected radio signals

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na problematiku měření pokrytí radiových signálů a s tím i spojenou problematikou šíření radiového signálu. V teoretické části je zmíněn úvod do elektromagnetismu a digitálního zpracování signálů. Dále je pak rozebrána problematika softwarově definovaného rádia, přehled dostupných řešení, radiového monitoringu a určování polohy pomocí systému GPS. V praktické části je popsán vývoj aplikace v prostředí MATLAB, určené pro měření pokrytí s využitím SDR přijímače RTL-SDR a GPS přijímače Gmouse VK-162, a následné reprezentace naměřených dat. Na závěr práce jsou uvedena ukázková měření pokrytí vybraných radiových služeb, se zhodnocením jednotlivých měření.

Abstract:

The work is focused on the measurement of radio signal coverage and related issues of radio signal propagation. The introduction to electromagnetism and digital signal processing is mentioned in the theoretical part. Next, the issue of software-defined radio is presented along with an overview of available solutions. Radio monitoring and positioning with a GPS system are also analyzed. In the practical part, the development of an application in the MATLAB environment, intended for coverage measurement and representation of measured data, is described. At the end of the thesis, examples of coverage measurements of selected radio services, are shown, with evaluation of individual measurements.
