The aim of this bachelor thesis is to state a brief summary and description of methods used in the taxonomy of prokaryotes. In this field occurred to a great development in the last fifty years. In thesis is described the field of taxonomy of prokaryotes in introduction and brief history of taxonomic methods, with focus on molecular-biology methods, especially for next-generation sequencing.
