Life of a family with an autistic child and its position in society

Abstract:

Anotace Bakalářská práce Život rodiny s dítětem s autismem a její postavení ve společnosti je rozdělena do čtyř částí, tři kapitoly jsou teoretické a jedna je výzkumným šetřením. První kapitola je zaměřena na teoretická východiska autismu - podává informace o historii autismu, etiologii a klasifikaci autismu, je zde popsána diagnostika autistických jedinců. Druhá kapitola se zabývá možností vzdělávání, výchovnými přístupy a možností nápravy chování autistického jedince. Obsahem třetí, závěrečné kapitoly teoretické části je rodina: její funkce a role v životě autistického dítěte a občanská sdružení a jejich důležitost. Čtvrtá kapitola je vlastní výzkumnou částí bakalářské práce, zde jsou zachyceny zkušenosti rodičů dnes dospělého 21 letého autistického chlapce a zkušenosti speciálního pedagoga ze Základní školy. V bakalářské práci byly použity tyto techniky: pozorování v rodině a ve škole, rozhovor s matkou autistického dítěte, studium odborné literatury, analýza osobních dokumentů. Bakalářská práce má charakter kvalitativní. Součástí bakalářské práce jsou přílohy.

Abstract:

Annotation My Bachelor work Life of a family with an autistic child and its position in society consists of four parts.Three theoretical ones and the final practical one.The first part is called The theoretical proceses of autism. It describes history, etiology and complete diagnose of autism with specific problems of all age stages. The second part deals with the posibilities of education and treatment and with potentional improvement in further developement of a child and improvement in behavior.The third part discusses the role, the needs and the position of a family in a life of an autistic child and it gives an insight on public corporations and its importance in a help to families with the autistic child. The final closing part of my Bachelor work is my personal research. In many interviews with experienced parents of an autistic child, who is 21 today, I m presenting revealing details of their daily struggles with this disease.I also present experiences of special pedagogue from elementary school. I used these methods in my Bachelor work : observation in the family and at school, an interview with childs mother, study of literature, personal files analysis. This work has got a qualitative character. See more information in the following attachments.
