Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na individuálně-autorský přístup k návrhu a výrobě brýlových obrub. Text práce obsahuje historii brýlí, materiálů používaných při jejich výrobě a mapování současné tvorby v oblasti brýlového designu. Poznatky získané v rámci designové tvorby obrub se promítly do výsledného návrhu. Výsledný návrh je inspirován historickým trendem monoklu a začleněn do moderního kontextu brýlového designu. Závěrečný produkt je tvarově neobyčejný a zároveň variabilní. Důraz je kladen na ruční výrobu, což přináší unikátnost a osobitost každého jednotlivého kusu. Výsledkem bakalářské práce je funkční prototyp v měřítku je 1:1.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on an individual-author approach to the design and production of spectacle frames. The text of the thesis includes a history of spectacles, the materials used in their manufacture and a mapping of contemporary work in spectacle design. . Insights gained through frame design creation are reflected in the final design. The final design is inspired by the historical trend of the monocle and incorporated into the modern context of eyewear design. The final product is visually extraordinary and, at the same time, versatile. The result of the bachelor thesis is a functional prototype at a scale of 1:1
