Abstract:
Práce se zabývá koncem hunské říše, zejména bitvou u řeky Nedao roku 454, ve které se utkali Hunové a jimi podmaněné národy. Jádro práce tvoří překlad Jordanova popisu této události a rozbor tohoto textu. Zabývám se úlohou některých kmenů, zejména Ostrogótů, která je u Jordana zkreslená. Abstract:
Paper deals the end of Huns empire, particularly the battle of Nedao river in 454 AD, in which fought the Huns with nations sujceted to them. Core of the paper is translation of Jordanes subscription of this event and analysis of the text. I consider the role of some tribes, for example Ostrogoths, with is misrepresented by Jordanes.
