Abstract:
V disertační práci se věnujeme zavedení funkční analýzy mutací v genu kódujícím LDL receptor pro doplnění genetické diagnostiky dědičného onemocnění familiární hypercholesterolemie. Ta je převážně způsobena právě mutací v genu pro LDL receptor. V důsledku mutací je v jaterních buňkách zpomaleno odstraňování lipoproteinů o nízké hustotě z krve a dochází ke zvýšení hladiny cholesterolu. Vysoká hladina …more
Abstract:
In this thesis, we introduce the functional analysis of mutations in the LDL receptor gene to complete genetic diagnosis of congenital hereditary disease Familial Hypercholesterolemia. This disease is mainly caused by mutations in the LDL receptor gene. In liver cells, the uptake of low density lipoproteins from the blood is slowed due to these mutations and it increases cholesterol level. High cholesterol …more
