Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku jednoho z podstatných auditorských procesů, a to konkrétně na metodiku výběru vzorků. Stručně vymezuje hlavní podstatu auditu a jednotlivých postupů, které audit definují. Komplexně jsou představeny Mezinárodní auditorské standardy vztahující se k postupům výběru vzorků. Jádrem teoretické části je analýza jednotlivých (pravděpodobnostních i nepravděpodobnostních) metod výběru vzorků. Práce navazuje praktickou částí, ve které je představena auditorská společnost, pro kterou je následně zvolena vhodná metodika výběru vzorků. Jsou analyzovány postupy dosavadní metody výběru vzorků. Práce následně vymezuje praktické problémy vyskytující se v této oblasti auditorských postupů, a to z pohledu Komory auditorů a následně také pohledem odborné veřejnosti. Následuje výběr vhodné metody výběru vzorků pro konkrétní auditorskou společnost včetně detailního popisu postupu a ověření funkčnosti této metody na konkrétní auditní zakázce. Metodika je zapracována do nově vzniklé směrnice, která je součástí práce. V závěru práce jsou shrnuta doporučení pro snadnější uvedení metodiky a směrnice do praxe auditorské společnosti.

Abstract:

This Diploma Work focuses on the issue of one of the crucial auditing procedures, i.e. the methodology of sampling. It briefly defines the principle of an audit and particular procedures specifying it. The International auditing standards related to the sampling procedures are presented comprehensively. The core of the theoretical part makes an analysis of the individual (probabilistic as well as non-probabilistic) sampling methods. The Work continues with the practical part introducing the auditing company, for which is afterwards selected a suitable sampling method. There is an analysis of the existing sampling methods. The Work subsequently specifies practical problems which occur in this part of auditing procedures, from the point of view of both the Chamber of Auditors and the professional public. The selection of a suitable sampling method for the particular auditing company, including a detailed description of the procedure and verification of the functionality of this method on a particular auditing order, then follows. The methodology is incorporated in the newly created procedure, which is part of the Work. The conclusion of this Work summarizes some recommendations how to put methodology and procedure easier into practice in the auditing company.
