This diploma thesis focuses on the migration of the population within the Slovak Republic. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate and compare migration among individual regions in the period 2006 – 2010. Diplomová práca je zameraná na migráciu obyvateľov v rámci Slovenskej republiky. Hlavným cieľom tejto práce je zhodnotiť migráciu medzi jednotlivými krajmi v rokoch 2006 – 2010.V snahe o interpretáciu migrácie použijeme indexovú analýzu a štatistickú metódu prognózy pomocou trendových funkcií.Práca sa člení na tri kapitoly.
