The phenomenon of collecting and its reflection in the context of contemporary art

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám tvarovou transformací již existujících objektů. Stěžejním tématem se stává snaha o co nejefektivnější a nejméně nákladné rozšíření sbírky starých automobilů, které rodina v předchozích letech vlastnila. Prací reflektuji fenomén sběratelství a jeho pojetí v současném umění.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is concerned with form transformation of existing objects. The main topic of my work is an effort to find the most effective and inexpensive expansion of old cars collection which my family has owned for many years. Through this thesis I am reflecting the phenomenon of collecting and its concept in contemporary sculpture.
