How to Become Invisible and Levitate
Abstract:
V teoretické části bakalářské práce se zabývám vlivem omezujícího oděvu, případně kostýmu na lidské tělo. V historických i současných příkladech hledám, jakým způsobem takové omezení působí na nositele kostýmu, jeho vztah k vlastnímu tělu, vnímání světa kolem a možnostech využití tohoto efektu v performativním a výtvarném umění.
Abstract:
In the theoretical part of my bachelor's thesis I deal with the influence of restrictive clothing or costume on the human body. In both historical and contemporary examples, I examine how such a restriction affects the wearer of the costume, their relationship to their own body, the surroundings and the possibilities of using this effect in performative and fine arts.
