Toponymy of the City of Třinec

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá toponymií města Třince. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní termíny, které se v práci vyskytují. Také je zde popsána historie, vývoj a současná podoba sledované lokality. Praktická část se zabývá materiálovým základem, kterým je toponymie získaná terénním výzkumem, a to prostřednictvím rozhovorů s místními obyvateli, konkrétně s hasiči, policisty a poštovními doručovateli, se zřetelem k sociálnímu, resp. profesnímu příznaku. Následuje vztahově modelová, strukturní a slovotvorná analýza.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the toponomy of the city of Třinec. In the theoretical part terminology, which occurs in the thesis, is explained as well as the history, development and current state of the monitored locality. The practical part deals with materials, which consist of toponymic expressions collected thank to a field research. In the research we worked with local citizens of following social groups: firemen, policemen and postmen; the social aspect of the names is the scope. Afterwards we carried out the relational-model, structural and word-forming analysis of the collected toponymic expressions.
