The theme of the thesis is Communicative Approach in French as a Foreign Language. The thesis contains two main parts: theoretical and practical. Práce se zabývá komunikativním přístupem ve výuce francouzštiny jako cizího jazyka. Teoretická část začíná vývojem vyučovacích metod a jejich stručnou charakteristiku, aby bylo možné jejich srovnání s komunikativním přístupem.
