Discharge of debts as a solution of bankruptcy in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce „Oddlužení jako způsob řešení úpadku v České republice" se zabývá problematikou oddlužení fyzických osob. Cílem práce je zhodnotit oddlužení jako způsob řešení úpadku dlužníka v České republice a formulovat doporučení vedoucí k maximálnímu využití výhod a omezení nevýhod spojených s oddlužením. První část práce je zaměřena na úpadek dlužníka, možnosti jeho řešení a analýzu oddlužení. V druhé části práce se věnuji oddlužení na vybraných modelových případech a formuluji závěry a vlastní doporučení.

Abstract:

Thesis "Discharge of debts as a solution of bankruptcy in the Czech Republic" deals with the issue of debt relief of natural persons. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate debt relief as a way of resolving debtor's bankruptcy in the Czech Republic and to formulate recommendations that maximize pros and minimize cons of debt discharge. The first part of the thesis is focused on the debtor's bankruptcy, the possibilities of its solution and the analysis of debt relief. In the second part of the thesis, I deal with debt relief on selected examples and formulate conclusions and my own recommendations.
