Nonprofit institutions in the concept of Satellite account of non-profit institutions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem „Neziskové instituce ve vymezení satelitního účtu neziskových institucí“ si klade za cíl zjistit, jak právní formy neziskových institucí v České republice, které jsou sledovány Satelitním účtem neziskových institucí v rámci systému národních účtů, naplňují jeho definici. První část práce tvoří teoretický vstup do oblasti neziskového sektoru a národního účetnictví. Charakteristika právních forem zahrnutých do Satelitního účtu neziskových institucí dle platné legislativy a jejich porovnání s pěti kritérii strukturálně-operacionální definice tvoří klíčovou část této práce. Poslední kapitola je věnována novému občanskému zákoníku, který s účinností od roku 2014 zasahuje do fungování některých neziskových organizací. Dále zde uvádím, jaké změny nová právní úprava přináší, a jaké dopady to bude pravděpodobně mít na strukturu institucí zahrnutých do satelitního účtu neziskových institucí.

Abstract:

The thesis titled „Non-profit institutions in the concept of the Satellite account of non-profit institutions” aims to determine how the legal forms of non-profit institutions in the Czech Republic, which are monitored by the Satellite account of non-profit institutions in the system of national economic accounts, meet its definition. The first part of the thesis consists of the theoretical input to the non-profit sector and national accounts. The characteristics of the legal forms included in the Satellite account of non-profit institutions according to current legislation and their comparison with five criteria of the structural-operational definition is the key part of this thesis. The last chapter deals with the new Civil code, effective from 2014, which interferes with functioning of some non-profit organizations. The thesis mentions what changes the new legislation brings and what impact it will likely have on the structure of the institutions included in the Satellite account of non-profit institutions.
