Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá písemnými projevy žen ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody (VTOS) ve Věznici Světlá nad Sázavou. Práce si klade za cíl poukázat na žánrovou rozrůzněnost těchto projevů, od neformálních běžných písemných komunikačních útvarů (typu soukromá korespondence) přes formální, oficiální (žádosti, stížnosti) až po písemné projevy umělecké povahy vznikající během edukačního procesu či v rámci specializačních penitenciárních aktivit zahrnutých do Programu zacházení. Cílem zkoumání bylo vytvořit specifický soubor písemných projevů, jež na základě obsahové a jazykové analýzy reflektují míru dovedností uvězněných žen, zvláštnosti v procesu jejich jazykové edukace ve vězení a ukazují, že psaní je důležitou součástí vzdělávání ve věznicích. Písemné projevy kultivují osobnost vězeňkyň, zlepšují jejich jazykové schopnosti i schopnost přemýšlet a zvyšují praktické dovednosti při procesu resocializace. Součástí práce jsou i terénní záznamy z hospitací a praktické výuky českého jazyka v rámci edukačních intervencí přímo ve věznici.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis examines the written forms of communication by women serving prison sentences at the Světlá nad Sázavou Prison. The thesis highlights the diversity in genres of these forms of communication. These forms include a range of informal conventional writing (such as private correspondence), formal and official writing (applications and complaints), and artistic examples of writing created during the educational process or specialised penitentiary activities under the Correctional Programme. The aim of the research was to create a specific collection of written forms of communication that reflected the skill levels possessed by the female inmates. Researched according to content and linguistic analysis and the characteristics of the process of the inmates' linguistic education in prison, the collection demonstrates that writing is an important part of education in prisons. Written communication and statements cultivated the prisoners' personalities, improved their language and thinking skills, and boosted their practical skills during the process of resocialisation. The thesis also includes field records of observations of lessons and practical Czech language tuition conducted under the prison's educational programmes.
