Consultancy for parents: How to communicate with children about sex

Abstract:

„Poradenství pro rodiče: Jak komunikovat s dětmi o sexu“ je název bakalářské práce, která kloubí teorii tvorby vzdělávacích programů pro dospělé, teorii sexuální výchovy a teoretická východiska dětí v raném věku. Dále poté praktická část obsahuje dvě velká témata. Prvním oddílem praktické části jsou konzultace s odbornicemi (psycholožky), které podávají konkrétní odpovědi na otázky dětí na rodiče. Druhou součástí praktické části je konkrétní vytvořený vzdělávací program na míru pro rodiče, kteří chtějí podávat informace o sexuální výchově dětem. Cílem této vzdělávací akce bylo seznámit dospělé s tématem sexuální výchovy (popř. sexuálního obtěžování/násilí, sexuální orientace). Dále je obeznámit s postupy předávání těchto informací dětem (podle rozhovorů s odborníky). A všechny tyto cíle se podařilo zařadit do samotné vzdělávací akce. Literární rešerše byla základem teoretické části a samotná tvorba vzdělávacího programu byla kreativní částí praktické části. Výsledkem práce je samostatný vzdělávací program, který je využitelný v praxi a je opřený o informace z odborné literatury i o konzultace s odbornicemi.

Abstract:

“Consultancy for parents: How to communicate with children about sex” is the title of the thesis which combines a theory of creating educational courses for adults, theory of sex education and theory of early childhood. Moreover, the practical part deals with two important topics. The first part of the practical part consists of consultations with professionals (psychologists) who answer specific questions parents give. Furthermore, the second part contains a specially created educational course for parents who want to inform their children about sex education. This educational event aims to teach adults the topics of sex education (that is sexual assault/harassment, sexual orientation) and familiarize them with the overall procedure of educating the children (based on interviews with professionals). All of these aims were successfully included in this educational event. The literal research was the basis of the theoretical part, and the realization of the course was included as the creative part of the practical part. The result of the thesis is the educational course that can be used in real life and is based on information acquired from professional literature and consultations with professionals.
