Abstract:

Tato práce vytváří Terraform plugin, který umožňuje vývojářům kyberbezpečnostních her a tréninků automatizovaně pracovat s KYPO Cyber Range Platform (KYPO CRP). KYPO CRP má webové rozhraní, nicméně jeho používání pro repetitivní úkony, jako testování kyberbezpečnostního tréninku, je zdlouhavé. Vytvořený Terraform plugin se používá pro čtyři scénáře: ruční příprava kyberbezpečnostího tréninku, automatické testování kyberbezpečnostího tréninku, automatické testování virtuálních obrazů pro KYPO CRP a jako součást nasazení KYPO CRP. Pro každý scénář byly vytvořeny Terraform moduly a kontinuální integrační procesy (CI pipelines), které jsou veřejně dostupné. Již byly použity ve 22 repozitářích kyberbezpečnostních tréninků a 17 repozitářích virtuálních obrazů. Vytvořený Terraform plugin byl také integrován do procesu nasazení KYPO CRP.

Abstract:

This thesis creates a Terraform provider for interacting with KYPO Cyber Range Platform (KYPO CRP) in an automated way for developers of cybersecurity training and exercises. KYPO CRP has a web GUI, but using it for repetitive tasks, namely testing cybersecurity training, is tedious. The Terraform provider is used for four use cases: manual use for preparing cybersecurity training, automated testing of cybersecurity training, automated testing of virtual images for KYPO~CRP and uploading content as part of automated deployment of KYPO~CRP. For each use case, Terraform modules and CI pipelines have been created, which are available as open source. They have been used in 22 repositories for cybersecurity training and 17 repositories for virtual images. The created provider has also been used as a part of the automated deployment of KYPO~CRP.
