Communication analysis between the medical staff and the patients in the emergency unit at Masarykova hospital in Ústí nad Labem

Abstract:

Tato práce nazvaná "Analýza komunikace zdravotního personálu s pacienty emergentní jednotky Masarykovy nemocnice v Ústí nad Labem" pojednává o komunikaci na emergentní jednotce Masarykovy nemocnice. Zahrnuje v sobě odborné informace o obecných vlivech zasahujících do komunikace ve zdravotnictví, které tvoří podklad pro následnou analýzu nedirektivních, volně strukturovaných rozhovorů. Obsahy jednotlivých rozhovorů poskytují subjektivní pohledy pacientů, zdravotních sester a lékařů na vzájemné interakce. Cílem této práce je zjištění úrovně celkového pocitu dostatečnosti a spokojenosti pacientů s komunikací vedenou se zdravotním personálem, odhalení možných nedostatků v dané oblasti a jejich příčin. Autor interpretuje zjištěná data s důrazem na problémové oblasti v komunikaci a pokouší se odhalit jejich příčiny.

Abstract:

Summary This work named "Communication analysis between the medical staff and the patients in the emergency unit at Masarykova hospital in Ústí nad Labem" deals with the communication in the emergency unit at Masarykova hospital. It contains information about general influence on medical communication, that creates the basis for consecutive analysis of the non-directive, free-structured interviews. The contents of particular interviews give subjective views on interactions between each other - from the patients, the nurses and the doctors. The aim of this work is to state the level of the overall feeling of sufficiency and satisfaction of patients with the communication with the medical staff, and revealation of possible insufficiency and its sources. The author interprets the data with the emphasis on the problem sphere in communication and tries to reveal its sources.
