This diploma thesis deals with reflection of childhood by Peter Härtling in his books for children - „Krücke“ and „Reise gegen den Wind“. The attention is concentrated on the years 1945-46, when he is running as boy with the family across Zwettl and Wien to Germany. Tématem diplomové práce je odraz dětství německého spisovatele Petera Härtlinga v jeho knihách pro děti – „Krücke“ a „Reise gegen den Wind“. Pozornost je zaměřena na období v letech 1945-46, kdy jako chlapec utíká s rodinou přes Zwettl a Wien do Německa. Teoretická část se věnuje současným tématům v německé literatuře pro děti a mládež.
