Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou peer konzultantství v kontextu probíhající reformy psychiatrické péče. Mapuje komunitní péči a roli peer konzultanta v prostředí svépomocné skupiny pacientů s duševním onemocněním, který v pozici moderátora a za pomoci vlastního příběhu cesty k zotavení motivuje k vzájemné pomoci a podpoře jednotlivé její členy. The diploma thesis deals with the issue of peer counseling in the context of the ongoing reform of psychiatric care. It maps community care and the role of a peer consultant in the environment of a self-help group of patients with mental illness, who, in a position of moderator and with the help of his own story of the path to recovery, motivates mutual help and support of individual members.
