Abstract:
Práce se zabývá kostelem sv. Jiří v Plzni, jeho historickým vývojem i současným životem zdejší farnosti. V souvislosti s údajným založením kostela svatým Vojtěchem je její součástí životopis tohoto světce a popis míst, která jsou spojována s legendami o jeho putování po jihozápadních Čechách. V práci porovnávám názory badatelů na údajné svatovojtěšské založení kostela.

The work deals with the church of St. George in Pilsen, its historical development and contemporary life of the local parish.
