Commented traduction of a non-literary text from Spanish into Czech, field: social science: More than just a financial and economic crisis, an ethical crisis

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is the translation and analysis of the text specialized in the field of social science. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part represents the translation of the Spanish text to Czech. The second part is focused on the analysis of the text in the original language. In this part we focused on internal and external factors of the text. The internal factors include the author of the text, his intention and typology of the text. Into the external factors we subsume phonological, morfosyntactic and lexical-semantic analysis of the text. Also, we have described our translation strategy and translation problems which we encountered during the translation. The last part called a terminology glossary is composed of terms which are alphabetically sorted. The part of the glossary are terminological tables, also alphabetically sorted, which consist of the term in an original language, an area in which the term is used, its definition, technical and linguistic note, resource of definition, collocation, Czech equivalent, its definition and collocation.

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je překlad a analýza odborného textu z oblasti společenských věd. Práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části. První část představuje překlad španělského textu do češtiny. Druhá část je zaměřena na analýzu textu ve výchozím jazyce. V této části jsme se zaměřili na interní a externí faktory textu. Mezi interní faktory patří autor textu, jeho záměr a typologie textu. K externím faktorům řadíme fonologickou, morfosyntaktickou a lexiko-sémantickou analýzu textu. Rovněž jsme zde popsali naši překladatelskou strategii a problémy se kterými jsme se setkali během překladu. Poslední část nazvaná terminologický glosář je tvořena termíny, které jsou seřazeny abecedně. Součástí glosáře jsou i terminologické tabulky, taktéž seřazené abecedně, které se skládají z termínu ve výchozím jazyce, oblasti, ve které je termínu užíváno, definice, technické a lingvistické poznámky, zdroje definice, kolokace, českého ekvivalentu, jeho definice a kolokace.
