Business model of the network of primary care providers in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce analyzuje business modely poskytovatelů primární péče, konkrétně metodou benchmarkingu porovnává společnosti EUC, MediClinic, MOJE AMBULANCE a lokálního praktického lékaře z firmy RAKLI. Metodu benchmarkingu rozšiřují strate-gická plátna a mřížky vytvořené z business modelů Canvas jednotlivých zkoumaných subjektů. Hypotézy jsou poté pomocí dotazníkového šetření, které je rozděleno na dvě části – pro pacienty a pro lékaře, a následných statistických metod, jako jsou kontin-genční tabulky, p-hodnota nebo chí-kvadrát test, vyvráceny nebo potvrzeny. Závěrem práce je diskuse k porovnání business modelů jednotlivých společností a nalezení jejich silných a slabých stránek.

Abstract:

The thesis analyzes the business models of primary care providers, specifically compares the companies EUC, MediClinic, MY AMBULANCE and the local general practitioner from the company RAKLI using the benchmarking method. The benchmarking method is extended by strategic canvases and grids created from Canvas business models of individual research subjects. The hypotheses are then refuted or confirmed by a questionnaire survey, which is divided into two parts - for patients and for physicians, and subsequent statistical methods, such as contingency tables, p-value or chi-square test. The conclusion of the work is a discussion to compare the business models of individual companies and find their strengths and weaknesses.
