Czech insurance market in terms of implementing Solvency II methodology

Abstract:

Moje bakalářská práce se zabývá současnou situací na českém pojistném trhu v souvislosti se zaváděním Solvency II. Právě Solvency II bude mít v nejbližších letech vliv na jeho podobu. V první části mé bakalářské práce jsem rozebrala strukturu pojistného trhu z hlediska počtu a vlastnické struktury pojišťoven, rizik ovlivňující činnost pojišťoven a ukazatelů pojistného trhu, mezi které se řadí pojištěnost a solventnost (Solvency I). V druhé části popisuji Solvency II a srovnávám ji se současnou úpravou solventnosti a Basel II. Na závěr mé práce jsem uvedla pravděpodobné dopady nové metodiky na český pojistný trh.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the current situation on the Czech insurance market in connection with the introduction of Solvency II. Solvency II will have an effect in the near future on its appearance. In the first part of my thesis I dismantled the structure of the insurance market in terms of structure and ownership of insurance companies, the risks affecting the business of insurance and the insurance market indicators, among which is one solvency (Solvency I). The second part describes the Solvency II and to compare it with the current solvency rules and Basel II. At the end of my work I have indicated the likely impact of the new methodology on the Czech insurance market.
